The Full Moon Day is called Purnima. Purna in Sanskrit means Full, Satisfied, Complete, Fulfilled, Content, and Strong. In the Yogic ritual tradition, we use this day to offer up prayers of health and wellbeing in the sacred fire ritual (Homa) for anyone in need.
Each month, we dedicate this ritual to specific people in need, this is where our prayers come to life because we are not just praying for ourselves, but for the wellness of others.
This is your opportunity to serve others by typing in their names and knowing that your prayers will be echoed over One-Thousand times in this Tradition of Loving Awareness.
Full Moon Healing Prayer Requests
My commitment to nature is to perform rituals with sustainable practices that allow us to be in harmony with the elements, both internal and external, from the moment the idea of the ritual is conceived until the end and beyond, spilling over into all of my actions. I want to inspire people to care for and protect their relationship with nature so that they can receive the gifts She has to offer now and in future generations. This is why my intention is to perform pujas, rituals and ceremonies responsibly; using natural materials, offering flowers free of pesticides and fertilisers, food that is organic, using high quality wood in our homas, local sourced ghee, etc.
Wherever you are, I invite you to be part of this beautiful practice. Begin to discover the inner, transformational fruit of a real and sincere connection with the inner and outer nature of this universe. If you're in the Bay Area, come, join us in this month’s ritual, March 15th, at six o'clock (address given upon request in contact form). If you are not in the area, or you cannot come, we encourage you to connect with us by setting your intention that day to become a channel of healing and love for those in your life that need it. Write us, share your experience with us. How does it feel to live that day, every month, with that intention?
Every month, we will post pictures and testimonials from the Full Moon Homa in our upcoming blog, where you will be able to have a glimpse of the ritual, see the offerings and connect to the power of this ceremony.
In order to make sustainable this practice and to bring its benefits to more and more beings, please consider contributing. It is through these contributions that we are able to offer our service, knowledge and experience. Your contributions give us the opportunity to live our dharma (life’s purpose), day after day, and be of service to you and everyone.
